Color Correction and Camouflaging
Color correction and camouflaging is great for people who have had previous work done by another artist and are unsatisfied with the results. Color may have faded into a blue, green. purple or red hue we use a technique that “covers” the old color. Shape mishaps can happen when a technician is poorly trained, lacks artistic ability or does not yet have enough experience in the field. Shape corrections can range. Sometimes the shape is not “terrible” but would look much better with a few changes.
Color correction and camaflouging is a process. During this process you will be given a new brow first and then in the same session the old pigment is lifted with a lifting solution and camouflaged with a light skin coloured pigment. The camaflouge pigment is noticeable but will fade and blend in with your skin tone over time. The improvement is immediate!
Remember, while microblading isn't as permanent as traditional tattooing, it will never just disappear, and this is why it's so important to go to an experienced artist. The remnants of whatever you've had done before will still always be there.
Before correction can be performed a consultation is required in order to know exactly what I will be working with. This will also help me provide you with what to realistically expect. Up to 4 hours is expected for this procedure.
Microblading correction isn't easy, and not everyone will be a candidate. Color correction and camouflaging is time consuming and not a simple fix. Sometimes it may require more than one touch up.
This procedure can also be done with for previous permanent makeup such as eyeliner and lips.
Price: $400 and up
Consultation is required!
6-8 week touchup $175
1st year touchup $225
