Permanent Make-Up
Permanent makeup is the application of colored pigments to the brows, lips and eyes to create the look of perfectly applied makeup.
Treatments are never the same and are tailored to each individual. Each individual has different facial features, structures, and skin tones which is taken into consideration before treatment to create the desired look.
The procedure for lips is designed to define lips, not to create volume or puffiness. At the end of the treatment you will have the appearance of a full lip. Since part of the process is outlining right on the border of the lip, I am only helping to give your lips the appearance that they're fuller. It's all about the illusion.
Lips are especially sensitive, so if you're considering getting this done, you may want to pay extra for an anesthetic to block the pain and this also goes for eyebrows and eyeliner. This will require a quick trip to the doctor for this prescribed numbing cream. The procedure can be done a lot faster and with less pain. The healing process takes about 10 days. Keeping your lips moisturized with vitamin A & D will help heal your lips quicker.
The lips will look very dry and chapped as they heal. The color gets lighter, and then as the skin heals, it usually comes back. You usually see the full, truest color after about two weeks. The lips usually require 2 or more touchups with 4 weeks in between to really get your true color. The lips only keep about 60% of its color after it is healed. If you have darker lips and would like to go lighter you will probably need more than 3 touchups. If you're prone to cold sores, make sure you're taking medication prior to the procedure to prevent an outbreak. In most cases, an outbreak is likely to occur if you get cod sores. Procedure time varies. Lips can take up to 3 hrs. eyeliner may take up to 2 hrs.
Eyeliner is one of our most popular treatments. Choose something like a classic style for a more natural look or choose a thicker style for more drama. Eyeliner will last up to 3 years. Great for those who wear pencil or liquid eyeliner daily. There’s no need to worry about applying eyeliner on a daily basis. Results generally last 3-5 years.

Brows and permanent makeup is a decision you should take time to consider. After a few years the color slowly fades but this is something you have to be happy with. Please choose your technician wisely. Cheaper does not mean better because at the end of the day you get what you pay for! A consultation is recommended and is mandatory for correction and camouflaging procedures. I highly recommend you get a stronger prescription for 10% numbing cream. This will make your procedure less painful and more tolerable. And remember if you are prone to cold sores please take your medication prior to the lip procedure.
