Add extra dazzle to your smile
The pain free tooth gem application process only takes about 15 - 30 minutes. The surface of the tooth’s enamel is prepped with etching gel and a bonding agent. The gem is adhered with a dental composite. The process is similar to affixing brackets for orthodontic braces.
The gem will add extra dazzle to your smile for 3 months- 1 year with proper care. If you ever change your mind, it can easily be polished off during a regular cleaning at your dentist’s office.
Gems come in the form of diamonds, crystals, or rhinestones being bonded to a tooth. At Vancity Beauty Lounge Swarovski crystals and 18/24 karat gold is used. All gems are 100% authentic and lead free.
A more minimalist alternative for teeth grills, the semi-permanent accessory is both edgy and delicate.
We have a 3 week guarantee. If your jewel falls out within 3 weeks we will replace it at no charge.
Individuals who are not good candidates:
- Pregnant or breast-feeding woman
- Clients with severe teeth stains
- Must be 18+ years or permission from parent
- Clients with lesions or wounds in the mouth area
- Clients with excessive loss of enamel
- Clients with artificial teeth
Post-Care for tooth gems:
Avoid the following for 24 hours after tooth gem placement.
- For the first hour, avoid drinks and food (including water)
- Do not brush that area for this time period
- Rinse mouth after each meal
- Do not touch or play with the crystal
- Do not remove the gem yourself
Removal
Contact your dental professional for proper removal to avoid any damage to the enamel.
18/24 KT gems are reordered in advance. A $60 deposit is required. There is a 1-2 week wait period. $110 balance owing at your appointment.
